Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? Read our FAQs below. If you don't see the answer to your question here, contact us.

How should I prepare for my session?

All pets should be clean, and long haired pets should be at least fairly recently groomed with the hair around their eyes trimmed.

Additionally, our paper can be slippery for paws. Please ensure that nails are trimmed and if possible, start moisturizing paw pads a week prior to your session.

For dogs, we recommend a walk before our session. A walk around the block upon arrival is often a good idea to decompress after the car ride to the studio.

What should I bring?

Make sure to pack your pet’s favorite treats and maybe one of their favorite toys.

We like to keep things simple, but please bring any props or outfits you would like included in your photos.

Can I be in the photos with my pet?

Yes! As part of the standard or the extra, 1 family member can join in for free.

An additional family member can be added for $25, with a maximum of 2 family members per session.

What if my pet is reactive?

As we are a private studio, no other pets will be present during your session. We start every session by giving your pet a chance to check out the space and get comfortable.

My dog doesn’t always listen. Can we still book a session?

For the best results, dogs should have their sit/stay mastered. That being said, we can always give it a go!

If your pet is having an off day, we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule.

Do we have to come to the studio?

Nope! If your pet doesn't travel well or is just comfier in their own space, in home shoots are available. Contact us for travel rates.

How do I get my photos?

Edited images are provided digitally via a link.

How long do I have to wait to see my photos?

We do our best to get your images to you as soon as possible! Your edited photos will be ready within 1-2 weeks of your session.
